Front Yard Garden Transformation with Layered Planting

This small front yard planting transformation turned a compact entry landscape into a more welcoming, layered, and ecologically valuable garden. A new stone walkway connects the driveway to the existing front walk, giving the space clearer structure and a stronger sense of arrival.

Layered perennials, ornamental grasses, shrubs, spring bulbs, and flowering plants bring seasonal movement, pollinator value, and texture to the front yard. Daffodils were planted between the grasses, with both arranged in a sine wave as a personal reference to the homeowner’s love of sound and music.
