This large property garden was designed as a series of connected outdoor rooms, with paths, stonework, seating areas, custom structures, and layered planting woven into one immersive landscape. The project included a cedar back porch with composite decking, a Euro-style paver walkway, stone steps, boulder accents, a curved stacked stone wall, a custom wood fence and gate, a fire pit area, and a custom cedar pergola with a metal roof.

Japanese-influenced details, including the custom moongate and a stone rain chain basin inspired by Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, were included as a personal response to the homeowners’ appreciation for traditional Japanese tea culture. Amsonia hubrichtii, Agastache, ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, shrubs, and small trees create movement, enclosure, pollinator value, and seasonal change throughout the garden.
