Front Yard Pollinator Garden with Seating Area

This front yard habitat garden transformed a traditional lawn into an immersive, living garden with gravel paths, layered planting, flowering shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses, a central fountain, and a small seating area woven into the landscape. Instead of being viewed only from the street, the front yard became a place to enter, sit, watch, and experience.

Pollinator response was immediate, with a swallowtail butterfly arriving within an hour of the plants being delivered to the site. Over time, Caryopteris, red hibiscus, Agastache, coneflowers, grasses, shrubs, and seasonal perennials filled in to create a garden that supports birds, butterflies, bees, and year-round enjoyment.
